The 32nd Scientific and Technical Conference "Vacuum Science and Technology" will take place on October 7–10 in Sukhumi.

Organizers: The Vekshinsky Vacuum Science and Technology Society, the Sukhumi Institute of Physics and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, Era-Istok, NPO Izmeritel, Ferri Watt, Vacuum.ru, Intec Analytica, the Scientific Equipment Group, VLS-Engineering.

Scientific focus areas of the conference include:

• Vacuum technologies in the space and nuclear industries

• Vacuum systems, devices, and process equipment

• Vacuum system sealing and leak detection

• Vacuum technologies for film and coating deposition

• Physical phenomena in vacuum and gas discharge

• Vacuum technologies in metallurgy and mechanical engineering

• Vacuum measurements

The main events of the conference will be held from October 7 to 9 at the Inter-Sukhum Hotel, located at 109 Lakoba Street, Sukhumi.

The "Vacuum Science and Technology" Scientific and Technical Conference has been held annually by the Russian Vacuum Society since 1994. The conference proceedings are published in a collected volume included in the Russian Science Citation Index. The event will be attended by executives and owners of leading Russian manufacturers and suppliers of vacuum equipment.

The Vekshinsky Vacuum Science and Technology Society has also been a long-time co-organizer of the VacuumTechExpo exhibition.
