VacuumCryoTech-2026: Exhibition Results and Participant Feedback

Vacuummash JSC showcased a wide range of vacuum equipment at the exhibition. Evgeny Kapustin, CEO of Vacuummash JSC, shared his impressions:

 

“We had many contacts during the exhibition. Some agreements have already been reached—so far, not on paper but verbally—which will allow us to develop new equipment models to be used in Russian nuclear technology. I believe the results of the exhibition will be very positive. I am very glad that we are taking part in it.”

Ferri Vatt presented vacuum equipment for various applications at the exhibition. The company’s booth featured live demonstrations of an injection system, a magnetron sputtering unit, an ion source, and a vacuum chamber. Yaroslav Zhelonkin, CEO of Ferri Vatt, commented:

“For us, the exhibition is a tool for positioning the company in the market. It is also an excellent platform to communicate with our customers, including discussions of potential joint projects. An exhibition is about constructive dialogue, communication, and meetings. With many partners, we build friendly relationships lasting for decades. And despite long-standing cooperation, we often discover new areas of interaction during discussions, and through direct contact we quickly find solutions.”

Karbosil presented thermal units for vacuum and thermal processing systems made of carbon–carbon composites, graphite, and in-house developed materials: UKMK-1 and UKMT-1. Alexey Sidelnikov, Director of the company, shared his views on the exhibition audience:

“We noted strong interest in our products and held numerous meetings with customers, discussing projects that we plan to implement over the next two years. This year’s exhibition featured a high concentration of specialists—people who approach us understand what vacuum technology and carbon materials are: technologists, designers, engineers, and technical experts with whom we can directly address very complex tasks at the booth, which we will later implement.”

Shanghai EVP Vacuum Technology presented a wide range of vacuum products at the exhibition, including vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, vacuum fittings, and liquid ring compressors. Emily Fu, Marketing General Manager, shared her impressions of the exhibition:

“I am very happy to be here. We have been working in the Russian market for many years and want to show customers in Russia that EVP is a reliable company. This exhibition is very professional. All visitors who come here are focused on the vacuum industry. Our company and the VacuumCryoTech exhibition are a very good match. There are many potential clients. Each day is very busy, as we meet many potential customers, and this is very good for us.”
 

Within the Strategic Plenary Session “Building the Vacuum Equipment Market: Challenges and Opportunities,” an assessment was made of the overall state and development prospects of the industry. Measures of state support, personnel and workforce issues, as well as the prospects for establishing an industry association were also discussed.

The program of the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Cryogenic Equipment and Technologies” was prepared with the participation of Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Cryogenmash JSC and included the following tracks: “Cryogenic Cooling and Gas Separation Systems”; “Modern Developments and Industrial Applications of Cryogenic Equipment”; “Cryogenic and Cryovacuum Engineering.”

The main topic of the International Scientific and Technical Conference “Vacuum Equipment, Materials and Technology” was the application of vacuum technologies in the aerospace industry. The conference also featured scientific and technical presentations on the following topics: “Physical Phenomena in Vacuum,” “Electrovacuum Devices and Equipment,” “Vacuum Systems, Devices and Process Equipment,” and “Thin-Film Coatings and Nanostructures.” Speakers at the conference included representatives of professional associations, research institutes, educational institutions, and companies engaged in the production of vacuum and cryogenic equipment.

As part of the business program, the “KrioNanoVac” Award named after I. B. Nesterov was presented for scientific achievements in the field of vacuum and cryogenic technologies. This year’s laureate was P. A. Gubnitsyna (Bauman Moscow State Technical University), with the presentation “Prospects for Magnetic Levitation Transport in Russia.”

Traditionally, as part of the exhibition, the “Best Innovative Product” competition was held, following which the winners were selected. Their innovative solutions were recognized as the most promising and significant for the development of vacuum and cryogenic equipment manufacturing.

In 2027, the VacuumCryoTech exhibition will take place from March 30 to April 1 at the Timiryazev Center.
